Yoga With Angie Never: Gratitude (Nov)

Service Description

My goal for Sunday yoga classes this year is to combine the energy of the Wheel of the Year with yoga practice to unlock, highlight, and strengthen the parts of yourself you want to develop. The focus for November, as it is every year, is gratitude. Practicing gratitude is a way of helping yourself by appreciating the world around you. We now know that cultivating thankfulness benefits your mental health, immune system, relationships, and productivity. Is gratitude practice the most cliche theme for November? Yes. Is it also one of the healthiest things you can practice for your body and mind? Absolutely. Join instructor Angie Never (ECYT-500) for four weeks of using your yoga practice to embody gratitude. We'll employ asana (poses), pranayama (breath), and dhyana (meditation) to help you connect with all the things in your life that give you joy and ease. You can expect to leave the class understanding how a gratitude practice benefits you and how to bring it into your day-to-day life. Please note this class will be grounded in the belief that yoga should be accessible to people of all shapes, sizes, ages, and abilities. We will operate from the assumption that all bodies are awesome bodies, and it's our job to figure out all the cool stuff they can do. The class will be held both online & in person at Sacred Shimmy Studio. Please indicate how you plan to attend in the comments section when you register. All participants will receive a Zoom link to the class about an hour before the start time. You will also receive a link to a recording of the course that you can use at another time. Cancellation Policy

All class passes are non-refundable and non-transferable. Cancellation to any regularly scheduled class will be announced on Angie Never's Facebook page, the Sacred Shimmy Studio Facebook page, and in the Sacred Shimmy Studio Dance Discussion Group. Classes will be automatically moved to online in the event of a Level One Snow Emergency in Franklin County.
