Join us on Sundays for revolutionary yoga classes in which we expand the constraints of modern yoga to include everyone. It's not your responsibility to change to fit yoga - it's yoga's job to change to fit you. There is a perfect yoga practice for anyone who wants to give it a try, including all ages, all sizes, all ancestral & cultural backgrounds, all gender expressions & sexual orientations. Angie Never is a passionate, educated instructor who has been practicing since 1998 and teaching since 2009. Her classes blend yoga poses, meditation, and breathwork in a body positive environment where students are encouraged and empowered. She incorporates a variety of options and modifications into every class to help you create a practice that honors who you are right now and paves the way toward who you might become. Sunday Yoga with Angie Never is appropriate for both long-term practitioners and folks rolling out a mat for the first time. These classes are grounded in the belief that yoga should be accessible to people of all shapes, sizes, ages, and abilities. We will operate from the assumption that all bodies are awesome bodies, and it's our job to figure out all the cool stuff they can do. Class will be held both online & in person at Sacred Shimmy Studio. Please indicate how you plan to attend in the comments section when you register. All participants will receive a Zoom link to the class about an hour before the start time. You will also receive a link to a recording of the course that you can use at another time.
