Slice Into Spring: Double Sword Secrets with Kiddo Sun of Tribal Witch

Spring is on its way!  At Sacred Shimmy Studio Online, we're celebrating  by pulling out our swords and spending some time with masters of this  favorite prop.  Starting with the Spring Equinox, join us for four  workshops from four different movement perspectives to give you  something new to work on with your trusty blade this year.

In our final workshop, Kiddo Sun will share his original Double Sword secrets! It includes skills, power, beauty, musical display and other very special performance skills! We will learn about some new Movements, including the FCBD®Style-Tribal Witch® Dialect SLOW & FAST Movements: 

• Queen's Skirt 
• Strong Arm 6 
• 1 ¾"BUMPS" 
• Triple Single Bump 
• Pandora Box 
• Arabic Speedy Step  

No matter practice or performance, Double Sword is a dance quality that tests a dancer's basic skills, performance angle, sense of strength and control.  Even if it is improvisational performance, the requirements on this aspect will be higher!  Looking forward to it!  We welcome you to perform Double Sword with Kiddo Sun!  Remember to eat more afternoon tea. To be honest, Double Sword needs more energy!

This class will be held via Zoom meeting.  Participants will receive a  link to the class in an email confirming registration.  You will also  receive a link to a recording of the class that you can download to use  at another time. The workshop cost is $30.
