Dive Into Dialect with Colette Todorov: Scarlet Thistle Style

Let's spend November celebrating creativity and innovation!  Movement Dialect is a phrase used to describe movements, steps, and formations that fit neatly into FatChanceBellyDance format but were created after FCBD's Volume 7 DVD was released.  Brilliant dancers from all over the world have been inspired by the elegant and playful aspect of this type of fusion and used this creative spark to develop new ideas to make your own!

Scarlet Thistle likes to keep things moving! We travel from side to side, fade the formation, and aren't afraid to throw in more spins! This workshop introduces dramatic slow turns, fancy footwork, and exciting variations on old favorites. Optional flourishes and variations are presented, along with ideas for use in group formations. We’ll begin with an energizing warm-up and end with a cool down.

This class will be held via Zoom meeting. Participants will receive a link to the class about an hour before start time. You will also receive a link to a recording of the class that you can download to use at another time. The workshop cost is $25.
